Table Talks Cup – Blue-gray

Description

The concept of the tableware collection called Table Talks was born during an event in our studio where people got involved in the process of designing a bisque-fired porcelain cup. The characteristic flat section was initially designed to function as a label or tag, where people could write a message or make a drawing for someone else. Later we fired the cups and sent them to the people they were made for.

What started as an event has grown into a large collection of cups, plates and bowls, all designed with a flat part. This characteristic flat part can still function as a label, as we regularly use it to stamp a logo, name or date in it.  We also provide white and anthracite porcelain with golden dots, called Gold Dust. These hand drawn 24carat cups and plates are all unique. We produce the Table Talks collection in white, anthracite, blue grey and yellow porcelain, as well as a green/grey made from waste of all colors mixed together.

The collection consists out of many plate sizes, bowls, cups and special items such as a water pitcher. On request, we can design your personal tableware items. If you need a birth set completed with name/date/image, we can use other clay colors as well. Just reach out to inform about the possibilities.
